MENUMBUHKAN LITERASI MELALUI TAMAN BACA BAGI ANAK USIA DINI DAN ANAK SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

The aim of this service activity is to foster a culture of literacy through reading gardens for early childhood and elementary school children in Cengal Village, Maja District, Majalengka Regency. The techniques used in this service are observation and interview techniques. The method used is the lecture and question and answer method. The place of service was held in Cengal Village, Maja District, Majalengka Regency. The results of the service activities, namely a culture of literacy through reading parks, have a big impact on listening, reading, writing and storytelling skills for early childhood and elementary school children. Literacy activities are carried out in an interesting way, such as ice breaking, storytelling, writing, coloring, and reviewing reading results.
