Integrasi Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) pada Pembelajaran Sentra di Sekolah Laboratorium
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana TIK diintegrasikan dengan pembelajaran anak usia dini berbasis sentra di sekolah laboratorium yang memberikan layanan pendidikan untuk anak usia 2-6 tahun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus. Penelitian dilakukan di salah satu sekolah laboratorium universitas negeri di Jakarta. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah para pendidik di sekolah laboratorium yang disebut dengan “Educarer”. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan perangkat TIK berupa laptop, komputer, tablet, smartphone, televisi Android dan tape recorder dalam integrasi pembelajaran anak usia dini yang dilaksanakan di sentra pembelajaran yang mencakup Sentra Persiapan, Sentra Eksplorasi, Sentra Membangun dan Sentra Seni. Secara lebih spesifik, hasil penelitian menunjukkan optimalisasi penggunaan perangkat TIK oleh pendidik yang diintegrasikan dengan konten pembelajaran dalam setiap kegiatan yang dilaksanakan pada keempat sentra pembelajaran tersebut. Temuan lain dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Educarer juga menyampaikan pentingnya pelatihan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan penerapan TIK dan integrasinya dalam pembelajaran anak usia dini. Lebih lanjut, Educarer juga menyampaikan tantangan yang dihadapi dalam integrasi TIK pada pembelajaran sentra bagi anak usia 2-6 tahun.
