EFEKTIVITAS PBL TERINTEGRASI STEM DITINJAU KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH DAN KEPERCAYAAN DIRI SISWA
Abstract
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan guna membandingkan keefektifan antara PBL yang terintegrasi STEM dengan konvensional terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan kepercayaan diri siswa. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam penelitian eksperimen semu. Seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Darul Hijrah Puteri Martapura merupakan populasi dalam penelitian ini, sedangkan untuk sampel dilakukan secara acak didapatkan yakni kelas XI A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan Kelas XI C sebagai kelas kontrol. Analisis uji yang digunakan adalah uji manova T2 Hotelling dan uji t-test dua sampel. Hasil penelitian dengan taraf signifikansi 5% menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Adanya perbedaan keefektifan pembelajaran matematika model PBL terintegrasi STEM dengan pembelajaran secara konvensional terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa 2) model PBL terintegrasi STEM lebih efektif daripada konvensional dilihat dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa, 3) untuk tingkat kepercayaan diri siswa model PBL terintegrasi STEM lebih efektif dibandingkan secara konvensional.
