This study uses quantitative methods. The research conducted is an experiment with the type of Pre-Experimental Designs. The research design used is one group pretest-posttest designs. The research sample amounted to 24 people. The data collection technique used observation, test, and documentation techniques. The research instruments were observation sheets, defense ability test sheets, and cameras. The data analysis technique consisted of pre-requisite analysis and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the defense ability of the male futsal participants of SMK Al Jabbar Ciledug before the application of the tactical approach was sufficient with an average value of 57. The defense ability of the male futsal participants of SMK Al Jabbar Ciledug after the application of the tactical approach was good with an average value of 80. This research is a quantitative research, with sampling technique using cluster random sampling technique. In this sampling technique, a class draw will be conducted at SD Negeri 2 Caracas which consists of 6 classes, by choosing randomly and the results of the selection in class V as an experimental class totaling 32 students and for data collection this research uses a test instrument. Based on the results of this study, it shows that the speed of dribbling from dribbling exercises using instep drive in the experimental class where the pretest has the fastest time of 14.09 and the longest time of 19.54 with an average result of 17.07 pretest and posttest has the fastest time of 10.54 and the longest time of 17.23 with an average posttest result of 14.07 so that the average increase in pretest and posttest is 3.00. In addition, in the experimental class, hypothesis testing was also carried out using the t-test which obtained a significance result of 0.000 0.005, meaning that there was a difference between the results of the pretest and posttest scores so that the dribble training method using the turtle foot technique had an effect on the speed of dribbling in football.

Biqi Fajar Sidiq, Dicky Reva Apriana Sanga Dwi Copyright (c) 2024 Biqi Fajar Sidiq, Dicky Reva Apriana Sanga Dwi https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.upmk.ac.id/index.php/jpess/article/view/2252 Sat, 31 Aug 2024 11:38:07 +0000 APPLICATION OF DISCOVERY LEARNING MODEL IN IMPROVING STUDENTS' CREATIVITY SKILLS IN BADMINTON LEARNING MATERIALS https://jurnal.upmk.ac.id/index.php/jpess/article/view/4148
The general aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of implementing the discovery learning model in improving creativity skills in badminton learning material in class XI SMA Negeri 14 Garut. This research used the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method with a sample of 29 class XI IPS 1 students. The instrument used was a movement creativity questionnaire.

Analysis of test data shows that the use of the discovery learning model significantly increases student creativity. The results of this research are based on data from pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II, which includes aspects of fluency, flexibility, authenticity, detail and sensitivity. The average score in the pre-cycle was 69.4, increased to 78.379 in cycle I, and reached 89.3092 in cycle II.

The results per component showed significant improvements: fluency from 74.4 (pre-cycle) to 88.85 (cycle II), fluidity from 72.1 to 89.428, originality from 68.9 to 88.85, granularity from 70.8 to 89.231, and sensitivity from 60.9 to 90.192. This increase shows that discovery learning is effective in improving students' creativity skills in badminton material. This research concludes that the implementation of discovery learning can be an effective strategy for increasing student creativity in physical education learning.
Rusdi Rusdi, Azhar Ramadhana, Z Arifin Copyright (c) 2024 Rusdi Rusdi, Azhar Ramadhana, Z Arifin https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.upmk.ac.id/index.php/jpess/article/view/4148 Sat, 31 Aug 2024 11:46:21 +0000 PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN ALAT MODIFIKASI TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN GERAK DASAR ATLETIK https://jurnal.upmk.ac.id/index.php/jpess/article/view/2371
Based on initial observations, in reality there are still people who are less interested in participating in learning basic athletic movements, because students prefer other games, one of which is football, especially male students.
