Socialization of Early Marriage From A Legal Perspective as an Effort To Prevent Stunting in Cipanas Village
Abstract
Early marriage is a marriage performed by a pair of teenage men and women under the reasonable age limit. The impact of early childhood marriage on daily life always leads in a negative direction. Early marriage often leads to domestic violence, divorce, poverty, stunting, cultural deviation, and other negative impacts. In this activity, the goal to be achieved is to reduce the number of early marriage and stunting rates in Cipanas Village, Dukupuntang District, Cirebon Regency. The subjects of this activity were Cipanas village officials, PKK mothers and the general public in Cipanas Village. The method of implementing activities is observation, counseling, and documentation. The results of the activity showed that the target community of counseling had a positive response to the implementation of the activity. The community is actively involved in the implementation of activities. This condition is expected to increase public understanding of the negative impacts of early marriage and stunting so that people are expected to avoid early marriage and stunting.
