ANALISIS KESALAHAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP SISWA SMPN 2 TELUKJAMBE TIMUR DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL TIMSS MATERI ALJABAR
Abstract
Penelitian berjudul "analisis kesalahan pemahaman konsep siswa SMPN 2 Telukjambe Timur dalam menyelesaikan soal timss materi aljabar" ini dilatar belakangi oleh hasil mini observasi yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti dalam rangka pemenuhan tugas mata kuliah kajian masalah pendidikan matematika dengan menggunakan instrument soal tes yang meliputi 4 soal yang di ambil dari soal TIMSS tahun 2011 dan di uji cobakan kepada 5 siswa SMPN 1 Rawamerta yang mendapatkan kesimpulan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa masih tergolong rendah, padahal Pembelajaran matematika memiliki dasar utama berupa pemahaman konsep. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui serta menganalisis kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa kelas VII SMPN 2 Telukjambe Timur tahun ajaran 2021-2022. Pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif digunakan pada penelitian ini dengan data dikumpulkan melalui instrumen soal TIMSS uraian dan di analisis sesuai dengan indikator kemampuan pemahaman konsep yang dikemukakan oleh peraturan Dirjen Dikdasmen Depdiknas No 506/C/PP/2004 tanggal 11 November 2004 dalam menyelesaikan soal TIMSS materi aljabar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data didapatkan skor siswa, didapatkan kesimpulan yaitu, kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis soal TIMSS pada materi aljabar mencapai 37,85% yang dikategorikan kurang.
