PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN AUDITORY, INTELLECTUALLY, REPETITION (AIR) DALAM UPAYA PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN PENALARAN MATEMATIS SISWA MTs
Abstract
Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Auditory,
Intellectually, Repetition (AIR) dalam Upaya Peningkatan Kemampuan Penalaran
Matematis Siswa MTs. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh upaya untuk meningkatkan
kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran
Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR). Melalui metode eksperimen diperoleh hasil
tes awal kelas kontrol dengan nilai rata-rata 4,55 dan nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen
4,01. Sedangkan pada tes akhir diperoleh nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol 17,47 dan kelas
eksperimen 22,74. Dari hasil analisis data awal dan data akhir sampel dapat
disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan model
pembelajaran Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR) lebih baik daripada kemampuan
penalaran matematis siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung.
Adapun peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis kelas eksperimen berada
pada kategori sedang Selain itu dari hasil angket respon siswa, diketahui bahwa siswa
menunjukkan respon positif terhadap model pembelajaran AIR.
