PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA SISWA SMP MELALUI METODE PENEMUAN TERBIMBING DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA
Abstract
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang bertujuan menelaah
secara mendalam peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik siswa
yang mengikuti pembelajaran melalui metode penemuan terbimbing. Metode
penelitian yang dipilih adalah penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan desain kelompok
kontrol non equivalen. Pada desain eksperimen ini terdapat dua kelompok sampel,
adaya pretest, perlakuan yang berbeda, dan adanya posttest. Data-data yang
diperoleh selama penelitian dianalisis menggunakan bantuan software SPSS 19
hingga diperoleh suatu kesimpulan. Setelah dilakukan analisis data diperoleh
kesimpulan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik siswa
yang pembelajarannya melalui metode penemuan terbimbing lebih baik daripada
peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik siswa yang
pembelajarannya secara konvensional,
