Abstract

Vitamins are an important part of a healthy diet. If a person consumes a wide variety of foods, the possibility of experiencing a vitamin deficiency is very small. People on crash diets may not get enough of certain vitamins or minerals. For example, a very strict vegetarian may experience a deficiency of vitamin B12, which can only be obtained from foods of animal origin. Conversely, consuming large amounts of additional vitamins and minerals without medical supervision, can have harmful effects.

The importance of vitamins in maintaining human health has received widespread attention from various groups, including scientists, researchers, medical practitioners, and the general public. Vitamin deficiency or vitamin deficiency can cause various health problems, such as reduced immune system, growth and development disorders, skin problems, anemia, and other health problems.
